Since in PvP, we unlock items by using faction or unlocking them in PvE, why not add weapon skins and armor sets to the list. I get bored seeing my PvP warrior in the same old armor sets, why not be able to add 15k luxon or kurzick armor to the list? and give him a Wingblade Sword skin or a gothic axe skin? I just thought it would be a cool idea if they added skins and armor sets to the list of unlockable pvp items. If you I.D. a skin or buy a set of new armor, it becomes usable for a pvp character.

Already exists. Its call the ATS tournament system/unlock system. You CAN get new weapon skins and armor for PvP characters. You have to use the [Tournament] NPC to get it. Its a lot harder then getting Bathzar Faction, and in my opinion it is a broken system... but it does exist.

Please do more research next time before making a suggestion.

I've yet to even see that system truly take effect, its really only for the purest of PvPers.

I would like to see armor and weapon skins unlockable with balthazar faction, even if they're not rare skins, some of the PvP equipment is just plain ugly.

What I suggested before about this was to make the skins cost more than the 10k balth faction cap that you originally get, so you do have to work for the skins, and they would cost alot of faction. Maybe make the rarer skins cost upwards of 20-30k faction.

I don't see any harm in atleast allowing some of the common skins to be unlockable for pvp.

OR maybe if you get an item in PvE they could let you permanently convert it to a PvP item with locked stats of your choosing(wouldnt work for armor).
But would be transferrable between characters and change customization(only for PvP characters).
Thus you would have to work and pay for the item, it's locked to your account, locked into it's stats and is only usable by PvP characters.

Any half-decent HB player can win 3-4 games out of the 7 matches they play, equating to anywhere from 3-20 points depending on if you end up in the bonus. I'm a very casual HB'er and I manage to score ~20ish points every tourney, meaning two weapon unlocks at the first level.

Suck less, and you'll be able to get these rewards quite easily.

I absolutely detest hero battles. I like every other form of pvp. Hero battles is the only one I refuse to do, and unfortunately the only way to get pvp skins.

I don't see why you people are so sour towards the idea of getting any tpe of unlockable pvp skins. I dont wanna look pretty, I just dont wanna look like crap.
